I'm so happy to inform, my friends, that i've been given Liebster award by Ruth from Rose Hill Collections. She has a wonderful blog and even though i got to know her only through the recent Viki's Grow your blog party, we've become very good blog buddies ever since and she inspires me so much.  Do check out her blog, you'll fall in love with it :)

Here are some random facts about me:

1) Everyone in my family and relations call  me by my nickname 'Bommy'. They almost never or rarely call me by my real name.
2) Lavender is my favorite color.
3) I'm a sucker for historical romance novels and period dramas
4) I'm terrible at cooking.
5) I'm very shy, more like a friendly introvert whereas all my friends are very Talkative and outgoing
6) I love watching old movies and tv shows.
7) When i'm bored, I tend to count letters in words in my head to see if they're even or odd.
8) I love afternoon naps.
9) I rarely drink Tea or coffee.
10) I love to sing/dance while doing chores (When no one is around)
11) My recent addiction is watching anime series. I know it's crazy, but on a brighter note, i managed to learn some words in Japanese :)

1. What do you like most about blogging?
I like the fact that blogging helps me to connect and share views with people who have similar interests like me. It's such a joy to share your projects with friends and getting to know their views. Blogging drives me to do more and get inspired from other blogs.
2. If you were given the power to change one thing about you, what would it be and why?
I  would like to be more extroverted.
3. Who is your role model? 
I get inspired from a lot of people but Ellen Degeneres is my favorite.
4. What is your most memorable moment?
 Me and my hubby's very first Christmas after marriage.. Had so much fun with our friends.
5. If you had million dollar, what is the first thing you would spend it on?
I really have no idea what i would do. Buy some gifts for my parents and in-laws i guess.
6. What's your favourite hobby?
Reading and sketching
7.  Other than your own, which country would like to live in?
Ireland. I was enchanted by it's beautiful landscapes and scenery while watching a movie.
8. Do you have a fantasy?
I wish i could live in regency era. Beautiful gowns, hairstyles, ball, waltz, courting.. i love evrything about it.
9. What is your most preferred way of dealing with annoying people around you?
I would just try to ignore them.
10. Who is your best blogging friend?
Ranjitha of  Hookingtheyarn. My very first blog friend. She's wonderful and never forgets to share her thoughts and views.
11. What is your favourite subject?
History beacause i love reading the stories of the past.

Abu dhabi finally!

Hello friends, after a long wait, i moved to abu dhabi last week! been busy unpacking that i didn't get time to post.. Just beginning to settle in here and exploring all the shops nearby (which is my favorite thing to do). There's still a lot more work to do so my projects are on hold for now..

Ripple dreams...

Is it normal to get dreams about the projects you're working on??? because, i always seem to have crazy dreams about crocheting whenever I start making a new and exciting project..
Recently most of my dreams are about this Ripple crochet blanket I've been making for my mother in law.

This  is one of my first big project and I can't wait to finish!! The only drawback is it requires a lot of patience and time
