I've been wanting to make a drawstring bag for a long time and ended up making a small cupcake drawstring bag

Made this bag from below youtube video

This bag would make a cute gift for little girls! have fun making it..

Crochet flower bag

Everyone who read my blog would've known by now that i love crochet bags.. eventhough i'm not yet in the stage to create my own pattern, i do love to recreate the lovely patterns that are available from web..

So here's my take on Meladora's flower purse

The pattern is available for free at Meladora's creations

I also managed to sew lining to the bag using Futuregirl craft tutorial

Though the bag is small, it took me longer than any other project to complete.. it's a long process making the flowers and connecting them.. so be patience while making this because the end result is totally worth it!

Raspberry Bag

Ever since I saw the lovely raspberry bag by colour in a simple life, I’ve been longing to make one.. luckily the pattern is available for free in Ravelry. The pattern is easy that even a beginner can follow without any difficulty. It took me just one day to finish this bag :)

To finish it up, I added a golden ribbon and made a sunflower following Meladora's tutorial..

My Raspberry bag is ready!! next onto making some clutches using this lovely raspberry stitch..
Happy crocheting!

My crochet project : Mermaid tears purse

After a very long time, I recently rekindled my love for crocheting.  Just happened to buy some yarns to teach some basic stitches (well, those are the only things I know) to my friend and I was wondering what to do with those yarns..  Then i saw this  Bernat's mermaid tears purse  and instantly fell in love with those gorgeous crocodile stitches!glad that they had video tutorial too because I’m not so good at reading patterns..

I found it easy to crochet the body of the bag but had no clue how to make handles.. so I took 9 strands of yarn about a metre and half and started braiding with 3 strands in each and then sew it to the side of the bag using tapestry needle..

Got so excited in finishing the handles and the bag that I had no patience to watch the flower tutorial.. so just made a Deco rose (simple and easy!)

Somehow  managed to add lining and zipper to the bag using this tutorial.. i know, mine is kinda messy.

Also made another one and gifted it to my friend and she loved it! handmade gifts do make people smile extra big :)
