Having some leftover scrap yarns and wondering what to do with them?? well, here's a simple crochet pattern to make camera coin purses. With festive season upon us, it would make a wonderful gift/stocking stuffer and for Instagram lovers.
Materials needed:
Some scrap yarns ( violet, cream, black)
Crochet hook suitable to the size of your yarn
Snap fastener
Tapestry needle
A little felt pieces in red, blue, black, green and yellow color
Fabric glue
sc- single crochet
st- stitches
Instructions:
Row 1 to 20 is worked in continuous rounds.
R1: chain 20, sc in second chain from hook, sc in next 17 stitches, 3 sc in the last chain, continue to work on other side of the chain, sc in next 17 stitches and 2 sc in the first chain space. (40 st)

use stitch markers at ends to keep track of rows completed.

for the purse flap, we are now going to work on the 20 stitches in the front only. Find and place 2 stitch markers exactly at the corners of the purse. Make sure the length of these corners are 20 stitches.
Your finished stitch in last row (R20) will be only one or two stitches away from this point. so slip stitch until you bring them to the stitch marker place
R21: chain 1, sc in same space, and sc in next
19 stithces (20), chain 1 and turn
R22: *sc in the next 20 stitches, chain 1, turn*
R23-29: repeat the above ** (20). fasten off.
Lens:

Arranging:

You can also make the purse larger or smaller by increasing or decreasing the beginning chain count. The violet purse is made with 20 chains while the pink one is made using 18 chains.
